Currently Coveting: A Black Kitchen

Confession: I have a new little pass time & it is actually a bit silly because it will very likely not amount to anything. Or maybe it will.

Anyway. Here goes: I daydream of how I’m going to bash out walls & completely redo the place that we stay in now. I spend lots of time ‘planning’ this renovation, pinning & jotting down ideas of how I’m going to transform this place into something magnificent!

The only tricky part is that it is not ours. Ha.

Anyway, I have big plans & one of these is that I am going to have the most gorgeous black kitchen ever! With black appliances. Naturally.

I think it all started with the fact that I’d love a SMEG stove again & next time I’m hoping to have a SMEG fridge too. When I started googling this, I found that black kitchen appliances are really on trend at the moment. Maybe it’s a sign?

This is how I plan to get my Black Kitchen together (well, in my dreams, ok?):

First up is a black wall or two or three. Maybe some black tiles, a black board wall & some wallpaper. There will be lots of white too. Just to balance the black.

The essential appliances are a SMEG stove (like the cream one I had, but in black) & a black or maybe a white SMEG fridge.

I will then make sure I kit my Black Kitchen out with the new collection from Le Creuset called ‘Taste Of The City’ which is inspired by the cityscape with hues of Ocean, Marseille, Cotton, Mist Grey & Black for real urban style.

Thanx for indulging me for a bit. A girl can dream, right?
