As Breast Cancer Awareness month with all its pink campaigns draws to a close today, I’d love to share my very favourite pink beauty buys & finds with you. Some are brand new & others are trusted oldies, but winners.

I adore the Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water for sensitive / dry skin (R79,99). It claims to give you 200 uses per 400ml. It removes make-up like a bomb & makes your skin feel squeaky clean. No rinsing required. It is such an awesome product. Perfect for Mrs Lazy Bones, like me.
It gets better! Chanel Chance Eau Vive (R1095 for 50ml EDT & R1565 for 100ml EDT) is my fragrance crush of the season. It is lively, radiant & playful, but still classy like Chanel herself! Think: grapefruit, blood orange, jasmine, cedar & iris notes. Watch the fun video clip here.
L’Oreal Paris declares its love for women with the exclusive La Vie En Rose lip stick colour collection. The creators wanted to offer every woman her tailor made pink & have therefore developed a special pink hue for each of their spokeswomen. The song La Vie en Rose (originally sung by Edith Piaf) is covered by John Legend for this campaign. (*love*) See the ad – featuring John Legend – over here. It is available in seven shades of pink (at R154,95 each from Clicks, Dis-Chem, Foshini, Edgars), with my two favourites from the range being Eva’s Peach Pink – tainted with yellow to better capture the harness of dark skins & Naomi’s Tea Pink – a fresh & sophisticated mauve pink.
Look no further for an everyday go-to nail colour than Mavala’s little nail colour cream in Riga (nr 56). It won’t show a chip so easily, plus the little bottle can be used up before it dries out. It contains no parabens, no formaldehyde, no animal ingredients, or heavy metal. R65 for 5ml from Dis-Chem.
Maybelline Baby Lips® Dr Resque in Pink Me Up (R34,95 at Dis-Chem, Clicks & Foschini) will make your lips feel instantly cooled & smooth. I have an awful cold at the moment, so I’ve even applied it to my sniffly nose & it feels great! The eucalyptus oil & shea butter is a winning combo. Available in six natural tints.
For mega shine & mega comfort, try L’Oreal’s Infallible Mega Gloss (R109,95; Mafia Gloss). This awesome creamy lip gloss is always in my handbag.
The Mio Boob Tube+ (R700, 100ml) is a multi-action bust firmer that works hard to defy gravity. It’s a smoothing, firming, & brightening formula really transforms the appearance of your skin, leaving your neck & chest looking more toned & smooth.
L’Occitane’s Shea Delightful Rose Hand Cream (R120, 30ml) is highly concentrated with 20% shea butter, so it keeps your hand really soft, but without any oiliness. I love the subtle rose scent.
The SMASHBOX Be Legendary Long Wear Lip Lacquer (here in Flamingo) is not a cheapie at R290 a pop (at Woolies), but it’s great value for money. This so-called mirror-smooth shiny colour stays, plus it doesn’t dry out lips. Available in more than 10 colours!
