Not that anyone around here would be wearing a tiny bikini with the crazy rainy weather that we’ve been having. But hey, who said you can’t wear a ‘blue bikini’ on your nails!? I decided to do just that with the stunning “Bikini so teeny” (nr 800) nail colour by Essie.
Have I mentioned than I’m a big Essie fan? Firstly, I love love love the fun names. Obviously it’s mostly about the colours, but sometimes when I’m indecisive, I choose the one with the coolest name.
Secondly – it’s a nail colour that lasts! At around R109 a bottle, it’s slightly pricey, but it’s so worth the investment. This colour stayed on for six days – really an achievement for someone like me who’s h-a-r-d on their nails. Obviously the manicurist should also receive credit. This colour was done by the lovely Didi at the Sorbet Dry Bar in Dunkeld, Jozi. Not only is she a fantastic manicurist, but she’s also the sweetest, friendliest girl ever! Pay her a visit – you’ll see what I mean.
