What makes it so fabulous?
The ritual offers relaxation to those who are desperate for it, but can’t afford to take time off for a full day.
Skin Renewal is a very successful brand, so I expected nothing less than fantastic service & a relaxing experience. And they certainly didn’t disappoint! The staff members are all clearly well trained & very professional. Possibly a bit over friendly at reception, but I prefer over friendly to a grumpy face any day.
What to expect… The interior looks like something straight out of a Top Billing episode. Possibly a bit over the top if this is not your style, but it’s the perfect setting to feel glamorous & treated. You might expect the regular spa treatments (mani’s, pedi’s, massages) to be priced for rich & famous, but it’s surprisingly not.
This salon is for you, if you… are looking for a spa with a luxe-feel. Or if you are looking for a one-stop shop for all your aesthetic beauty needs – from Botox to waxing & slimming.
What I didn’t enjoy… Unfortunately the music in the massage room was too loud. (Dido is just not what I had in mind during such a relaxing treat!). I also expected to have a glass of water ready in the room after the massage, which was unfortunately not the case. (Please excuse me if I sound a bit like a prima donna…)
This treatment is for those who… Need a quick-quick time-out & are in desperate need of some relaxation. This 90 minute session is the perfect re-fuel that a girl needs to face city life again!
The final verdict: The spa is luxurious, but won’t make you feel intimidated. Certainly worth a visit!
