If you are as drawn to beautiful things as I am, then this post is for you! I’ve lined up 10 gorgeous things have come into my life lately. Some were gifts, some online finds & others landed on my desk. All are totally gorgeous! Enjoy.

Thandana Bags

I’ve been the owner of a gorgeous floral protea Thandana bag for some years now & when I started my gym routine in January 2019 I ‘rediscovered’ it in my wardrobe. I was so chuffed. Then I was gifted a gorgeous Jen Leather backpack by Esque – which is available in 5 different natural colours AND 5 metallic leather options too. Totally on trend & timeless at once.

My third fabulous Thandana find is their little Thandana Mini Decker Cooler with laminated fabric. The quality is superb, the size just right for healthy school or work lunches (or drinks!) & the feminine designs are beautiful. These mini coolers available in 25 different colour / pattern options. I am completely in love with my Trio of Tandana bags.

Artichoke Flowers

My darling friend Christa brought me some Artichoke Flowers from her garden for my birthday in February. I was so impressed. I love artichokes but somehow it never occurred to me that artichokes could have such gorgeous purple flowers.

Burt’s Bees in South Africa

Great news is that Burt’s Bees products are now in South Africa too. Yay. Order them online from takealot.com or look out for Burt’s Bees on the shelves of Dis-Chem & other pharmacies soon.

Gin Mayo. What? Yes!

Gin & Mayo. A match made in heaven. Pretty much like Peas & Carrots. Like Emily Blunt & John Krasinski (I’m slightly obsessed with them right now). Like rainy weather & pancakes. Like tea & cake.

You can find Gin Mayo at Tapenade in Linden or The Space. Follow their Instagram account & check them out on Facebook,

Call it De lekkerste saus van Nederland or the con-GIN-ment of dreams, but make sure you try it!

Balaya Olive Oil

Gorgeous packaging. Delicious Olive Oil. Locally made. That’s that.

Love & Lemons – A food blog with fresh, zesty recipes.

Love and Lemons is by far one of the most gorgeous blogs that I have discovered in years. We also share a love for lemons. Author Jeanine writes: “I love bright seasonal food that’s very often finished with a squeeze of lemon. Hence the name.” It is a foodies dream. It might even make you consider becoming a vegetarian or vegan for a moment.

Jamie’s 5 Ingredients

Jamie Oliver is my absolute favourite chef & food inspiration of all time, so when I got his “5 Ingredients” from my two main gyus I was thrilled. Like most of his books, the recipes in this one are easy, yummy, quick to make & (moslty) very healthy. Absolutely perfect.

Black Pop Mug Set by Urchin Art

These little ceramic cups by Urchin Art are everything. At the moment I have them on my tea trolley / drinks trolley as decorative pieces. But they are also perfect for water, a cortado or even as mini flower vases. Put a bold spin on your water glass selection with this set of four ceramic cups. Stylish and unique, they work for everyday purposes and will add a fun touch to a dinner party with friends.

My Clinton Friedman Serving Tray

I’ve been a Clinton Friedman fan for a long long time now & now I am also the delighted owner of a gorgeous Serving Tray. I only own three trays (including this one) because I find trays can be quite uninspiring, but this one is almost too pretty to serve on. I put it out as more of a decorative piece.

Check out some of the tableware by Clinton Friedman on Esque.co.za or head over to his site to find more of the Friedman fabulousness.

Thanx so much for visiting.

Yolandi ♥
